  • Why is my skin red after SQT®?
Don't worry! This is completely normal as the skin purges the pigment build-up, which moves to the surface of the dermis layers. In other words, the redness is part of the skin's natural wound-healing response.

Also plays a critical role in wound healing and skin cell regeneration.
  • What tips do you have for aftercare?
Proper aftercare is essential for ensuring that you get the most out of your SQT sessions. Typically, we recommend the following aftercare: - Avoid hot baths and showers for at least 24 hours after the treatment, as the heat can cause the skin to become irritated. - Gently cleanse the treated area on day 3 with a mild non-foaming hypoallergenic cleanser and water. Avoid using harsh or abrasive products that can irritate the skin. Refrain from using corrective skin care products during this process. - Avoid wearing makeup, masks or any face coverings for up to 7 days as the skin may be sensitive and more prone to irritation. It's super important to let your skin breathe. - Limit exposing the treated area to direct sunlight for at least 7 days after the treatment. Use sunscreen with SPF 45 or higher to protect the skin from UV rays. - Try your best to avoid picking or scratching the treated area, as this can cause scarring or infection. - Depending on your specific goals, it may take a few sessions or weeks to see results. Be patient, trust your skincare journey, and follow a consistent skincare routine to maintain the results. It is also important to follow any specific aftercare instructions provided by your SQT specialist, as they may have additional recommendations based on your individual needs.
